Film and audio has been an interest of mine since I learned to ski and tried to make my own Ski Video’s as a kid. I did all my own filming, editing and audio without formal instruction on these beginner attempts. At the time I was highly influenced by watching Warren Miller’s amazing ski movies, even ending one of my clips with an epic backwards shot exiting the ski area with “closing time” blasting in the background. Later, as I grew older New media production started as a hobby in high school and quickly developed into a passion. I studied at SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of technology) in the New Media Production and Design program.
I find it fun experimenting with all the types of new media software that are “out there”. From Creating and, editing video to creating and mixing audio tracks together, to working on sound effects and scores... I am always inspired to forge new and interesting projects.
Recently, I have expanded into still photography and am currently honing my skill set in this area. This summer I’m looking forward to pursuing my photography & filming in the The Bow Valley where I live.
